I used one of the local companies - Edwards Genesis - as he not only phoned to discuss my requirements but also sent a draft report for me to consider before I finally agreed.
The survey was done by the end of that week and the final report was in my hands within a couple of days after that. I also received a draft report of my survey by e-mail due to the postal strikes. This report is helping to provide clarity as to a schedule of works to be completed on the property.
